The ER and Tryandgetcare

So, I go to the ER with chest pains. They find a heart murmur and think I have severe reflux. I get two referrals for an awesome cardiologist and a gastro guy.
I call and drop the ER doc's name and get immediate appts.
hey, wait a minute....I wonder if good old TryandGetCare will cover it.
Of course not.
I have to see my PCM at Rader first.
OK, he's not available until the next millenium.
I will see someone else.
I have a 10:20 appt. Guess what time I'm seen?
Anyone? Bueller?
Ten minutes to freakin' twelve. Why, SHE has a meeting/lunch and of course has to see me before she chows down because she has been on the phone back and forth to Walter Reed (that awesome facility - they ROCK!) for some ancient Lt. Col. this entire time.
I have never seen anyone type so fast in my life.
BTW, my regular doc left around 11:35 for lunch. I almost threw myself in front of him to get the damn referrals.

P.S. Dr. Porter is an awesome pediatrician! We love him. He is the only reason our family even engages in that nightmare of a facility.
